Sometimes you need a setting change to take a break. Our friends Steve & Janny, on their 43' catamaran, invited us to raft up with them on Coronado Is. So we motored over there on Thurs night, it was so peaceful and nice.

Steve and Janny are working on their boat projects and so are we! Janny and I used my sewing machine to mend a few items we had in need of repair. Tim helped Steve with some dinghy fixes and upgrades and hoisted Steve up his mast to take some measurements. Steve helped Tim service our batteries.

Early in the morning on Friday, I applied Peel Away to the Starboard side of the cockpit. The process took about 2 hours. My day will be spent cleaning this all off come tomorrow!

We called it a day about 1700 and we all got ready to go ashore. Steve went for his run and Janny, Tim and I took Gracie the dog for a walk while we chatted about provisioning for cruising followed by ice cream! MooTime Creamery it is! We met back up with Steve and then zoomed back out to the boats to eat dinner on our own. We went over to Steve and Janny’s boat for a movie. It was a comedy and we laughed really hard at various points. We called it a night about 2230.

Tim & Lynette Jenné have their feet firmly planted in midair. We don't know what tomorrow brings, but are very excited to see what surprises come our way. Tim's favorite leadership quote:
"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea." Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Captain John Jenne (1596 - 1643), son of Henry Jenne and Mary Smythe, was born 21 December 1596 at Lakenham Parish, Norfolk, England; He married Sarah Carey. They emigrated to the Colonies from Leyden in 1623 aboard the Little James, accompanied by the ship Anne. Their daughter Sarah was born 23 July 1623, at sea.
